La mer
In a patented and particularly gentle separation process, the company La mer from Cuxhaven extracts the exclusive sea silt extract from the mudflats of the North Sea. The extract obtained contains all the essential active substances of the sea silt in high concentration and refines all La mer care products.
The trace elements and minerals found in the sea can be absorbed particularly well by the human body and processed in its metabolism.
Sea silt - The secret of marine active ingredients.
Sea silt is one of the purest natural products. Is particularly rich in oxygen, healing earth, trace elements, sulphur, salts, minerals and organic tidal flat components. In a worldwide unique process, La mer processes the sea silt into an extract which shows convincing care results for all skin types in a short time. All this is done in their own laboratory.

The compatibility of La mer products has been dermatologically tested. They are very well tolerated by the skin and most of them are also available without perfume.
With the MED series, for example, La mer has developed a therapy-accompanying care product that is specially designed for sensitive skin, very dry skin, neurodermatitis, psoriasis, acne and couperose.
La mer sea silt extract:

La mer works in cooperation with the Wadden Sea National Park. The Lower Saxony Wadden Sea National Park Authority intends to expand the salt marsh area in the National Park. La mer supports this as a partner so that this unique nature can be preserved for future generations.

La mer Cosmetics AG is a medium-sized company based in Northern Germany. The development and production of La mer skin care products takes place in Cuxhaven. The company La mer uses its exclusive extraction rights for sea silt, which is extracted and processed from the North Sea biotope in the immediate vicinity of the company headquarters.
Paul Gojny discovered the healing effect of sea silt on the skin in 1981. He began to use the marine active ingredients contained in it in cosmetics to alleviate various skin problems. La mer still feels committed to this goal today.
All La mer products contain the exclusive La mer sea silt and additionally - differentiated according to skin needs - other marine active ingredients.
